The annual Farm Curl event was held January 17-19, 2019. The event is held in the Vermilion Curling Club and is hosted by the Ag Society.

Open rocks were thrown by dignitaries Jason Zayac, Mayor Caroline McAuley and Stacey Hryciuk. ( Ag Society President, Mayor of Vermilion and County of Vermilion River representative)

Forty teams were entered this year and is the maximum the event can host. Rapid Fire Theatre entertained everyone at the banquet held Saturday evening.

Congratulations to the Tim DeRoo team for placing 1st with 32 points in the “A” Event. Team jackets sponsored by CIBC — with Tim Deroo.

Congratulations to the Carter Babij team for placing 1st with 34 points in the “B” Event. Team jackets sponsored by UFA — with Carter Babij, Breanne Hryhirchuk and Brayden Drury.

Congratulations to the Kellen Snelgrove team for placing 1st with 36 points in the “C” Event. Team jackets sponsored by Agland — with VAS President Jason Zayac, VAS Past President Jay Sinclair, Kellen Snelgrove and Jason Westman.
